The Model 30 is a bolt-action rifle that is made by Rickard Firearms & Defense. It is RF&D's first bolt-action weapon, and is the longest-running as well as most successful product ever manufactured by RF&D. Several variants have been made from the original Model 30, including the Model 40, a semi-automatic counterpart that was released in 1966, a rimfire variant known as the Model 322 that was released in 1974, a "Scout Rifle" variant of the Model 30 known as the Model 30S, and a higher-caliber variant known as the "Wildcat" was released in 2007. This weapon is designed specifically for civilian use. It competes against the Accurafire Foxhound, the FAC LHR, and the NS Arms Moon Hunter.
