The Kaizen KZR39 (Ko Zairyo Raifuro 1939?) was a WWII era anti-material rifle by Kaizen Corp. firing a larger version of the 7.7x58mm Arisaka cartridge, the 13.7x108 Kaizen and heavily based off the Kaizen R1. It was designed in 1939.

Differences form the R1 included the addition of Leupold and/or Zeiss scopes, stronger internals, simpler but strengthened/reinforced exterior, the addition of a bipod, and larger internal magazine.

The 13.7x108 was specially developed for this weapon has long range and high power, notably on par or better than the American .50 BMG and the Soviet 12.7x108mm, as it can hold as much or more propellant and features a larger bullet. The propeller is different than the other 2 anti-material cartridges, it's classified. However, it exerted slightly more recoil than the American and Soviet alternatives. Also, it's slightly heavier. It comes in armor piercing, tracer, ball, incendiary, HEAT, saboted armor piercing, and high explosive configurations. Still in service to this day, and some use .50 BMG instead.

Recently, the KZR39 name was resurrected for anither anti-material rifle.
