Johann M35 Overview and History[]
The Johann & Briggs Model 35 is a modular assault rifle designed for the German GSG-9 in 2035. It has safe, semiauto, two-round-burst, and fully automatic firing types, the 2RB implemented for hostage situations or for use around explosives so to not stray too far from target. There have been strictly 2RB versions made, but do to cost, were not accepted into the German Army as a standard rifle. There has also been a carbine version made called the "M36-C," which is also in service.
Design first began on the M35 in 2033, when the GSG-9 began finding their weapons outdated and wanted a new assault rifle to replace the many they use currently. Johann & Briggs saw this and decided to get to work on this new rifle.
