The Rickard Model 10 is a semi-automatic (select-fire for the Model 10A) rifle that was the first firearm ever manufactured by the Rickard Armament Company. The original Model 10 was used by the U.S. Marines in somewhat limited service from 1942 to 1953, while the later Model 10A variant saw usage by both the Marines and the Army in very limited numbers from 1945 to 1960. During its time, it competed against the M1 Bodan rifle both in military trials and in the civilian market. It was later succeeded by the Model 40 in 1965. It competes in the 7th cycle of the 1st Perpetual Competition of the PMG Wiki.
