History[]

FAC created the Supermagnum after chairman Andrew Wetzel had a notable clash in the Alaskan woods in September 2016. While he was on a huntig trip he ran into an adult male grizzly bear that fought his territory. During stalking he had his .357 revolver at the ready, which prooved way inadequate to solid stop a raging bear with one shot. After this incicive occurrence, he sat on the drawing bord as soon as returning home and started to sketch a more powerful handgun. What he came up with was a six round revolver chambered for the .500 S&W.

Technical Specifications[]

The .500 S&W Supermagnum is currently FACs most powerful handgun and one of the most powerful production revolver in the world today. It is a single/double action revolver, that fires the enormous .500 S&W cartridge out of a six round cylinder. Once fired, this powerful round travels around 600m/s and evolves circa 3800J of energy. To cope with the mighty recoil impulse, FAC added two compensating counterparts. First one is a fixed mounted compensator at the barrel end, the second one is a fixed weight under the barrel. Nevertheless, the recoil still is brutal.

The complete gun is made out of stainless steel with a full graphite black cerakote coating to prevent gleaming. Beside the graphite black coating, FAC offers different variaties of camouflage coatings and different grip plates to personalise your revolver.

Purpose and Variants[]

FAC created this revolver as a hunting and coup de grace weapon for any game animal, or as a stalking weapon for areas with dangerous predators like bears. It is heavy as lead, but its enormous stopping power granted it a great reputation among hunters. To fit into its role as hunting weapon, FAC added a rail to the cylinder frame to mount optics. It is also available in three different barrel lenght, seperated into model S (short), M (medium), and L (long).
