ECRS
The ECRS (Ergonomic combat rifle system) is a line of weapons made by SK-I to replace the aging AR15's. it features a light and heavy series, with a basic AR, carbine, and DMR for each. There are also other variations that do not come under any of these series.
L series
The L (light) series is the most commonly found ECRS series. all of these weapons are chambered for 5.56x45mm rounds.
ECRS-L
The ECRS-L, standing for light, is the most standard configuration for the ECRS line. it is chambered for 5.56x45mm rounds in a 30 round magazine. it has safe, fully automatic and 3 round burst fire modes
ECRS-L-C
The ECRS-L-C, standing for light carbine, is the basic carbine ECRS variant. it features a shorter barrel
ECRS-L-DMR
The ECRS-L-DMR, light designated marksman rifle is the DMR variant of the ECSR-L. It features an extended barrel, bipod, monopod, ACOG scope and 15 round magazine.
H series
The H (heavy) series is the larger more powerful line of ECRS's. these weapons are chambered for 7.62x39mm NATO rounds for extra stopping power.
ECRS-H
The ECRS-H (standing for heavy) is the basic H series variant of the ECRS. it features a thicker and stronger buttstock and 30 round box magazine.
ECRS-H-C
The ECRS-H-C (Heavy carbine) is the heavy version of the ECRS-L-C. It features a shorter barrel than the ECRS-H
ECRS-H-DMR
The ECRS-H-DMR(heavy designated marksman rifle) is larger than the ECRS-L-DMR. the barrel is considerably longer and it features an SK-I R400 4x magnification scope. This weapon is designed primarily for mobile snipers who spend large periods of time in enemy territory. it features a 20 round box magazine.
ECRS-S-PDW
The ECRS-S-PDW (specialized- personal defense weapon) is a personal defense weapon variant of the ECRS. it features a magazine adapter for a 9x19mm 30 round mag, and has been rechambered for this round. it also has a folding stock and extremely short barrel.
