The AA105 (which stands for Avtomat Alexandrova - 2005) are a series of AK-style rifles that are made by Alexandrov Design Bureau specifically for export and the civilian market. They were designed in 2005 and have been produced since 2008. In the U.S. civilian market, it competes against the AR-15 based RS-15.

The AA105-M.

The AA105-M (M for Match) is the first rifle of the AA105 series. It is based on the AK-74M.

  • Polymer AK-74M / AK-100 series handguard with a heat shield.

AA105-CM

The AA105-CM.

The AA105-CM (CM for Classic Match) is the second variant of the AA105 series, but instead chambered for the original AK cartridge and takes its styling from the original AK-47. It is essentially the closest you are going to get to the original AK-47, and competes against the Polytech Legend.

  • Available with either a fixed stock or a bottom-folding stock like the AKS.
  • Chambered for 7.62x39mm, and is fed via a 30-round magazine.
  • Effective range is around 400 meters.
  • Rate of fire: Semi-automatic

AA105-RM

The AA105-RM.

The AA105-RM (RM for Retro Match) is the most recent variant of the AA105 series, this time based on the AKS-74. It competes against the Arsenal SLR104FR.

  • Chambered for 5.45x39mm, and is fed via a 30-round magazine.
  • Effective range is around 500 meters.
  • Folding stock.
  • Rate of fire: Semi-automatic.
